Testimonials Hi there, Another update on Harlow... (hope you don't mind!) She turned 5 months yesterday and is growing beautifully. She now weighs about 7.5kg, she was only 4.6kg when we got her!!! We are loving Obedience classes, and despite being the smallest (by about 20kg!) and youngest, Harlow gets along with all the other dogs.
She is pretty much a trouble free dog. She does enjoy digging but we have redone the garden so it doesn't allow her to dig. Other than that, she is perfect. She is really good at being left alone, and is getting much better at heeling when we walk. She knows so many commands! I think she is easy to train because she is soooo food driven! Lots of people have commented on how calm she is for a puppy, and how beautiful her markings are. One day on a walk in the city she even got snatched by a bride for wedding photos!!! Anyway, hope all is well with all your pups over there :-) I will probably email you in 4 weeks time as she is being sterilized the day before her 6 month birthday - I must let you know how she goes! Cheers Rehina Perth W.A. P.S. Have attached some photos of her. The last one if her sleeping with her best friend Lola the Weimerana, after a big day at the beach!

Hi Mary, It's Stella's birthday today, and we thought we'd let you know how she's doing. As you can see she's grown quite a lot, very naughty, but adorable all the same. Hope you've been well. All the best Niven and Lucy "STUNNING STELLA" |
Dear Mary,
I just wanted to let you know that Mac is doing very well, growing beautifully and would like to share some photos with you.
Kind regards

Hi Mary, How are things going? I know I've been really slack - but I have attached a photo of Lily - this was when she was about 9 weeks, so she has grown alot since then. (I will upload some photo's soon) She's is a beautiful dog - cheeky little thing too, she has sit and shake under control, great at fetch (struggles with give at times!)she lost a tooth the other day and has nearly outgrown her collar already. We have taken her in the car a few times, at first she was a bit fussy, but now she seems to like it, especially in the sun, she absolutely LOVES the sun. How are all of the other puppies going, has Jazzy grown much? Thanks for everything Mary, we love our Pup and she has settled in really well. Kind Regards, Monique & Glenn "LOVELY LILLY" | Hi Mary, It's been a while since we last exchanged emails. How are you ? Hows Sonny, Kelly and the rest of the family doing ? Fury turned 5 months yesterday. He is growing into an absolutely beautiful dog. But he still is Mr.Grumpy !!!:-) The wife adores him now....even though he has totally dug up her rose beds....hehehe He's had all his shots and the vet was very impressed with his health. He was by far the best and most well behaved dog at puppy pre school. He loves the beach & going for rides in the car. He is now a really important part of the family and nothing beats coming home to see his happy face. I was hoping to bring him by sometime to hi. But I wanted to check with you first. Hope all is well. I will continue to send updates on Fury. Regards, Jason Baulkamhills N.S.W "This is Fury" .JPG) |
Hi Mary Just wanted to give you an update on Truman (aka. Meg's male #5 born on 29 March 2009). As you can see from the picture, Truman has grown into one very smart looking beagle. He is now 5 1/2 months old and has just spent the day playing with his "cousin"/best friend, Kevin, a poodle x cocker spaniel. He is doing very well in obedience training by duxing his puppy class and is completing his adolescent training at the moment. He is already enrolled to undertake the next levels of obedience later this year. All of his instructors are very impressed and have all commented that we have a very well behaved and placid beagle. Truman thoroughly enjoys his twice daily walks and particularly enjoys the track around the lake near our house where he can enjoy all of the wonderful aromas of rotting lake vegetation and kangaroo poop. Truman will shortly be joining the ACT Beagle Club and will go on the monthly walks and enjoy much play and socialisation with his fellow beagles. Truman is also a regular visitor of the local Pet Pamper Care Dog Spa and is popular with all of his beauticians. Truman is scheduled to have the desexing surgery tomorrow which we are sure he will take in his stride as with every other challenge he has encountered - particularly sparring with the local magpie and pigeon population and their trespassing in his backyard. We are absolutely thrilled with the furry addition to our family and he has quickly become the true comedian and live wire of the household. Wishing you the very best Truman, Andrew and Rachael Itzstein ACT |
Dear Mary,
We've had Stewie home for over 5 weeks now and thought it time we send you some pic's of the little man!
He's such a good boy, at least as good as a beagle puppy can be! He listens pretty well, we try to be quite distinct so we don't confuse the little fellow. He understands "no", "down", "sit", "shake". He even plays fetch with us - he's still learning "drop" though! Haha. Nonetheless, I think we're doing a pretty good job seeing as we've had him for only 5 weeks.
He has plenty of toys and we give him a bone once a week while we're out of the house to keep him distracted. We've kept him on Eukanuba and his treats are liver treats so he can stay nice and healthy! I bought him a puppy kong and he just loves trying to get the liver bikkies out of there!
He is still only small but we can already see how big he has gotten. We took him to the vet just over a week ago, He got another C3 shot as well as a worming tablet. We're also using advocate to protect him from fleas and other parasites. I'm 99% sure he is flea-free!
Attached are some photos Mary. Thought I'd add his home so you can see where he is resting - Brent built this for him, it's great! O! And his favourite toy is the blue bunny which you will see in a couple of photos.
We'd love to receive Stewie's puppy photos when you get a moment - we understand you are busy so whenever you have the chance that would be great!
Thank you so much Mary for bringing so much adventure and love into our lives. Stewie is a great puppy and we love him dearly.
I will stay in touch and we hope to hear back from you.

Hey Mary, Its Nichole Petrie here. Thought you might like to see these pictures of Bella we took today (: She has settled in really well and is healthy. Went to the vet yesterday for her 16 week needles. Weighs 5.8kg; She's reasonably placid though she loves stealing socks, undies and slippers from under beds. She even has her own little place to stash them. Bella gets on really well with our cavalier Tammy and can sit, drop and learning how to wait. Hope all is well especially all those lovely puppies (: Cheers, Nichole (Glen Alpine N.S.W) "Bella" |
Dear Mary It is now 12 months since we picked Bella up from you (25th July), and it has been a lovely happy year! Bella is an absolute delight to us both. She has a beautiful temperament, very trusting, easy to handle, capable of completely ignoring you, then bounding up as though you are the most important person in the world. She is much loved and while being well fed and cared for, is as fit as a fiddle. She gets lots of exercise (which has been good for me too) and loves going for a run with Pete around the golf course where she can roam around and follow him. Being a rural golf club, very often during the week they are the only 2 out there! She is great company for me as Pete works away most weeks, and you can certainly never be lonely with Bella about. She is usually 3 steps behind"helping" do whatever we are doing. So Mary, you have bred a beautiful animal who we love to bits. Thank you, fond regards Jane Campbell "Beautiful Bella" |
Hi Mary, Thank you so much for all your help yesterday, Chad is very excited and loves his new puppy lots. Chad has named him Archie and all day had a great time with him. Archie travelled really well in the car, he snuggled up near Chad and slept all the way, his first day at his new home was a big one, all of Chad's friends dropped in to say “Hi” and then his Nan & Pop came to visit. Archie has settled in really well and after a big play had a big sleep. It hasn't taken Archie long to know where to go to the toilet, when he was inside we could hear a different bark, came and found him (he looked lost and it must be hard on your first day to find the door), took him outside and he went to the toilet straight away, this went on all day. Archie settled in well in his new sleeping place and was always happy to have his time out. His first nights sleep......... gee he was so good, when we first put him in he cried for about 5 mins and then that was it till about 2am this morning where he cried, barked, howled on and off till nearly 3am, then heard nothing and at 7am this morning open the door to find him snuggled up in bed with his teddy, straight outside for his morning toilets and now having lots of fun with Chad again. We are all off to the pet shop today to buy lots for Archie. Thanking you again Michael & Denise Want Playing in his new yard Ready to take him home Chad & Archie Ready to go home |
Hi Mary & Sonny, Just a short note to let you's know that Cleo has fitted right in. She is doing very well and the girls love her to bits. Hope all the other pups are doing ok. I have attached a photo taken of Cleo on the weekend. She has had her first taste of snow and very cold weather the last 2 days. Cheers Anissa, Robert, Laura, Hannah & Cleo Whyte "CLEO" |
Hi Mary, Hope all is well. Just wanted to once again say a very big THANK YOU for the gorgeous puppy Maloo, he is growing up and has developed very nicely. We take him to our local dog park and we are always getting compliments on how cute and gorgeous he is. I have attached a few pictures so you can see him. Kind Regards Susan "Maloo" |
Hi Mary, Here are some pictures of Allie in her new home. She is doing very well and playing all the time. Regards Tracey (Japan) "This is Allie" |
Hello Mary, Rosie certainly had a smart little puppy, not to mention one full of determination. The drive home was fine, no drama or fear, had a bit of a whine around Parramatta but put that to being hungry more than anything. I've named him Huckleberry, due to his adventurous spirit. Attached some photos for you, as long as he approaches JJ without paws first the two are fine together. JJ a great help with training especially around the backyard, JJ doubles back and almost herds Huck onto the grass if he gets distracted along the way. I started training as soon as we got home, I'm glad I did as also feel it is helping JJ adjust to his new leadership role. Huck is a quick learner, knows to sit while I'm preparing their dinner, I never leave JJ's bowl down and just pick Huck's up about an hour before they eat. Have introduced the lead as well so knows to sit when I put that on/off and of course his reward is'dinner', so doesn't get time to chew the lead. I also put JJ on a lead for dinner, plus attach JJ with his lead in various places so Huck learns respect for all leads. JJ won't let Huck chew or play with his lead; neither will I and hopefully it will make walking together a lot easier from the start. The weather hasn't been the best for many outdoor activities but took advantage of a sunny Friday to introduce Huck to his playpen while I mowed. Joe was over yesterday fixing part of a fence corner we were worried about so Huck again had a nice morning playing and sleeping in the sun. Doesn't seem at all worried about activities going on around him, is out of harm's way and by the time he out grows the playpen, he should be quite happy on the deck with JJ whenever I have to whipper snip. I'm certainly glad I did DogTech training; it really prepares the owner to think of what sort of dog they want the pup to turn into and the skills to achieve a positive outcome for all. We have various time outs, I think JJ also appreciates a bit of time on his own or just with me without Huck. Thank you so much for everything, especially Huck as he is not only a healthy pup but so eager to learn and loves a cuddle. Our constant lesson is what Huck can and can't chew, so has learnt really quickly not to chew me or JJ at all ~ or else no full body patting from me and no curling up with JJ. Cheers Robyn Huck eating Huck meets Friend Huck Kisses JJ 1st sleep together |

Harlow is very clever and knows how to sit, wait, fetch, drop, roll over and spin around. She absolutely loves soft toys. Thank you for such a lovely pup, we are enjoying her so much!!! Rehina Gill Perth W.A.

Hi Mary, Sorry we havent been in touch since purchasing Dudley from you in July last year. (Dam: Lilly Sire: Keeper) Dudley will be 1 next month and we thought that you might like to see some photos of him. Dudley is very popular and people always stop us on our walks to comment on what a beautiful dog he is. We have to agree he is very good looking!! Thankyou for breeding such a great dog for us Mary. He is great with people, loves to be around us, is super smart- he can sit, shake, roll over, stay, come, beg, and he also talks (alot!!) He was completely toilet trained after 3 days of having him. We noticed on your website that you offer boarding for dogs. We are going to Europe for 3 weeks in July and was wondering whether it would be possible to bring Dudley to you for that duration? We hope you like the photos of Dudley and hope to see you soon. Thanks, Kahlia, Steve and Dudley. "DUDLEY ROWSTON" |

08.03.10 Hi Mary, Thought you might like this photo I took a few days back - because Harpo looks so at peace on that carpet. In the mornings both Harpo and Cuba come to the lounge room after their breakfast on their way outside - to wipe their faces on the carpet and roll around before going outside - it's part of their stretching and yawning ritual. Harpo is now just over 1.5 years old. Harpo managed to get the courage up and follow me across a river last week (it was only knee high waters) - so that was a great surprise for me to see her so brave and to see her actually swim. She is a very happy, content dog. She is loved dearly, and very much a family member. Bye for now, Regards, Roya Winter "Harpo Winter" 13th June 2009 Hi Mary, Here are some photos I took mid May and beginning of June of Harpo. She is now 9 months old. To remind you - she was born 13th September. Quite the character...mischievous yet affectionate. Disobedient, but learning. Last week was the first time I had her off the leash in the park. It was wonderful to see her frollick in the leaves with her "sister" We love her. She now sleeps with us in bed some nights - as the kitchen feels too cold. Hope you enjoy the photos. Regards, Roya Winter "HARPO" | |

16th May 2010 Hi Mary,
Time passes so quickly and can't believe our little man will be turning 1 in 2 weeks time!
Not sure if you remember every family that gets the opportunity to take home one of your beautiful puppies but we picked up little Stewie from you on July 25th last year - under my partner's name of Brent Morley. Stewie is the pup of Lulu and Keeper, born 31 May 09.
Stewie is so inquisitive ALL the time and loves playing with his ball & frisbee. We took him to the beach in January this year and he LOVED it!
Brent & Stewie go for a jog 3 - 4 times a week and Stewie ends up dragging him along at the end! haha He has so much energy.
We love him so much and we can tell he loves us just as much! I think Brent is the favourite though, boys will be boys. He loves sleeping with us too if we're on the lounge or in the bedroom & absolutely loves getting under the blankets and curling up with us!
He really is a good boy, most of the time. He just loves socks (have to keep the laundry door closed), tissues and towels! He can be very obedient, we've taught him to understand "good boy", "no", "sit", "beg", "shake", "drop it" however if he has something that he really doesn't want to drop we have to offer him an enticing alternative to get it from him!! Such a rascal.
Mary, I was also hoping you could offer some details of local carers for animals seeing as you are in the industry. Brent and I are going overseas in July for 8 nights and want to ensure our little man will be looked after while we are gone, is there anyone in the area you would suggest?
Thanks Mary, I've attached some photo's so you can see him all grown up.
From Brent, Jade & Stewie. "Stewie"
